Our approach

We are a group of mental health practitioners, registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. At Kapwa, we believe that healing happens through human connection, and that is why, we practice person-centered therapy as the foundation of our work. As a mental health collective, we strive to help clients by providing specialized, trauma-informed care, that is inclusive and equitable. Come As You Are

You don’t have to perform in front of us. Our hope is that you would feel safe enough to come as you are, without a mask, whether or not you’re feeling regulated, or activated, we are here to help you. There is no dress code - we want you to feel comfortable. Come in sweats, glam, or work uniform. You are welcome here, now.

 

In-person and remote options

You can schedule a virtual appointment that you can attend from the comfort of your home, or you can book an in-person session. All in-person appointments will take place at 30 Powerhouse Street, Room 201, Toronto (Landsdowne & Dupont).
